Pridebot Terms of Service

By inviting, adding, or using Pridebot in any Discord server or interacting with the bot in any way, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use Pridebot.

By using Pridebot, you also agree to comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

2. Description of Service

Pridebot is a LGBTQ themed Discord bot that provides various services and tools to Discord users. Such services include but are not limited to fun, educational, utility, and experimental commands.

3. Usage Guidelines and Prohibited Conduct

Users must adhere to the following guidelines while using Pridebot:

• Do not use Pridebot for any unlawful, harmful, or malicious activities.
• Respect the privacy and rights of other users.
• Do not attempt to exploit, hack, reverse engineer, or misuse any features of Pridebot.
• Do not use the bot to spam, harass, or abuse other users or servers.
• Do not attempt to overload or disrupt the bot's services (e.g., through excessive command usage or DDoS attacks).
• Do not use the bot to distribute hateful, discriminatory, or offensive content.
• Do not impersonate the bot developer, staff members, or any other users.
• Do not use automated tools or scripts to interact with the bot without permission.
• Do not attempt to circumvent any bot features, rate limits, or access controls.
• Comply with all applicable Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

Violation of these guidelines may result in immediate termination of your access to Pridebot, data deletion, and potential reporting to Discord Trust & Safety.

4. User Accounts and Data

When using Pridebot, you may create a user profile and provide personal information. You are responsible for:

• Ensuring that any information you provide is accurate and up-to-date.
• Maintaining the security of your Discord account, as access to bot features is tied to your Discord identity.
• All activities that occur under your Discord account when using Pridebot.
• Ensuring that any content you submit (profiles, bios, etc.) complies with these Terms and Discord's policies.

5. Premium Services

Pridebot may offer premium features or subscriptions for a fee. By purchasing premium services:

• You agree to pay all applicable fees and charges.

Payment processing is handled by third-party payment processors. We do not store your payment information.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to Pridebot immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms of Service.

All content, features, and functionality of Pridebot, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, code, and software, are owned by Pridebot and are protected by intellectual property laws.

By submitting content through Pridebot (such as profile information, bios, or other user-generated content), you grant Pridebot a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and store such content solely for the purpose of providing and improving our services.

You retain ownership of any content you submit, and you may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Pridebot is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use Pridebot.

11. Age Requirements

Pridebot is intended for users who meet Discord's minimum age requirements (13 years old in most jurisdictions, 16+ in the EU). By using Pridebot, you confirm that you meet the minimum age requirement for your jurisdiction. If you are under 18, you should have parental or guardian consent to use our services.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Pridebot, its developers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Pridebot shall be resolved through good faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes may be submitted to binding arbitration or resolved in the courts of the United States.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

15. Changes to the Terms of Service

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through our Discord support server or via bot announcements.

Your continued use of Pridebot after any changes will constitute your acceptance of the new terms. If you do not agree to the updated terms, you must stop using Pridebot.
